Sun Moon Lake Cycling Path - Moon Lake Section

Starting from Xiangshan Visitor Center, this section heads south along the southern shore of Moon Lake, passing Toushe Dam and Moon Bay, and ending at the entrance of Ring-the-Lake Tunnel No. 1. Along the way, the ecology and forest landscape are rich and diverse. Especially noteworthy is the panoramic view of Toushe Basin from a high vantage point, where fields and houses are laid out like a chessboard. Please note that the section of road before Mingtan Tunnel, which leads to the dedicated path to Moon Bay, is closed (as indicated by the yellow line in the picture). Please avoid accidentally entering this unsafe area to prevent potential loss of life or property. If you need to access Moon Bay, please enter via the entrance road from Xiangshan Visitor Center.
