Located between Mingjian Township and Jiji Township, this 4.5-kilometer long camphor tree road is the well-known Jiji Green Tunnel. These camphor trees, planted in 1940, required great effort to care for, according to local elders' recollections. Water had to be carried daily from distant streams for irrigation to prevent the trees from withering and incurring penalties. Today, these camphor trees are lush with foliage, forming a shaded avenue. Riding a bicycle leisurely through it is truly pleasant, especially in the scorching summer, where one doesn't feel the intense heat of the sun at all. It truly embodies the saying, 'One generation plants trees, another enjoys the shade.' A tourist railway runs alongside, and the slow passing of the small train adds to the poetic charm. It is a great spot for many tourists and newlyweds to take commemorative photos.
