The Paper Dragon Handicraft Museum is located in Puli Township, Nantou. It is a tourist factory that combines traditional papermaking craftsmanship with modern creativity. Established in 1979, it was transformed into a tourist factory in 2007 with the assistance of the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs. This allows visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the papermaking history and techniques of Puli, a town renowned as the "Town of Paper." The Paper Dragon Handicraft Museum showcases the process of mechanical papermaking and the production of corrugated paper. It also applies paper to creative products, such as the "Paper LEGO 3D figures" beloved by both adults and children. In addition to exhibiting a wealth of paper art designs and creations, the museum also features DIY experience workshops where visitors can personally create various three-dimensional quilling works and enjoy the fun of creation. It is suitable for family outings and group activities. The Paper Dragon Handicraft Museum not only preserves and passes on the history of Puli's papermaking industry but also innovatively transforms paper into works of art that embody the aesthetics of daily life. It allows visitors to experience the diverse possibilities of paper, inspiring imagination and creativity, making it a high-quality attraction in Puli tourism that combines cultural education with hands-on experience.
