Qinshou Kiln

Qinshou Kiln is located on the right side of Provincial Highway 21, on the way from Sun Moon Lake to Puli. Its exterior has a distinct tropical feel. Browsing the park's architecture and installations, you can sense the owner's unrestrained creativity; the rustic wood carvings are full of original flavor. The design and construction, including the exhibition area and restaurant, seem to be spontaneous creations by the owner. Consequently, walking through the park feels unrestricted and free. Visitors to this place can spend 150 NTD, roll up their sleeves, and enjoy the pleasure of pottery throwing; it's a joy for families to visit together. The beautiful and friendly name 'Qinshou Kiln' was conceived by the owner, Wu Tz-pin, at four o'clock in the morning on opening day. He woke his wife, sought her opinion, and thus Qinshou Kiln in Zhongming Village was established. Wu Tz-pin's home was originally the visitor service center of Zhongming Community, and also the Qinshou Kiln for pottery making. Every brick and tile, including the pottery classroom, residential building, guesthouse, as well as a suspension bridge and a pavilion, was personally laid by Mr. Wu Tz-pin. On the main building, there is also a wood carving that tells the story of Mr. Wu, from being a child in a fishmonger's family to where he is today.
