Bamboo Rock Garden Eco-Resort

Located near Jiulongkou on the north side of Sun Moon Lake, the park can be accessed by turning off Provincial Highway 21 at approximately the 60KM+800m mark. The entire area spans about 6,000 square meters, offering close proximity to the scenic beauty of Sun Moon Lake and an excellent geographical location. The Bamboo Rock Garden Ecological Learning Center presents diverse themes, including “Bamboo Rock Secret Realm,” “Butterfly Ecology,” and “Industry Experience.” The entrance features the “Bamboo Dream Plaza” and “Bamboo Dream Stepping Stone Stairway,” which boast a variety of bamboo species and vintage-style stone steps, making it a popular romantic spot for wedding photoshoots. Strolling halfway, visitors will find the “Butterfly Waterfront” ecological pond and the “Butterfly Love Slope” butterfly habitat, which face each other, safeguarding the butterflies. Here, butterflies flutter gracefully among the flowers, becoming a new ecological highlight of the park. Upon entering the main building's lobby, visitors will see the 210 cm tall “Bamboo Butterfly King,” crafted from interwoven bamboo strips, which serves as a guardian for the many butterflies of Bamboo Rock Garden. The “Butterfly Art Room” offers fun DIY local cultural industry experience activities for all ages on an irregular basis, or guests can sit at the “Butterfly Viewing Platform” to admire the beautiful scenery of Sun Moon Lake and the dancing butterflies. Additionally, take a stroll along the private “Butterfly Dance Tea Fragrance Trail” located behind the park. The tranquil mountain forest ecology invites visitors to pause and linger, allowing their minds to be fully soothed and healed, truly getting close to nature.
