Dongyin Visitor Center

The first stop for visitors to Dongyin. Follow Zhongzheng Road along Zhongzhu Harbor, pass the White Horse God Temple, and you will soon arrive at the Dongyin Visitor Center. Completed in 2003, the Dongyin Visitor Center is located on the hillside south of Zhongzhu Harbor, beneath the Nanqiao Helipad, not far from either. Unlike other visitor centers that feature Min-Dong style architecture, the Dongyin Visitor Center stands on the hilltop with a low-profile design to resist strong winds. It can be seen from Zhongzhu Harbor and serves as an excellent landmark for guiding visitors. The first floor of the visitor center houses a tourist service center and a sales area. The second floor also serves as an exhibition space, with a resting area designed with lighthouses and terns in mind, allowing visitors to immediately understand Dongyin's rich ecological landscape. For first-time visitors, a trip here will certainly be rewarding. Dongyin boasts abundant tourism resources, including famous historical sites, sea-eroded landforms, battlefield landscapes, and native plant species, all worth exploring. Visitors are encouraged to make the visitor center their first stop in Dongyin to watch introductory videos, pick up brochures, or consult for travel information, preparing for the rest of their journey.
