Zhongliu Islet

A small island off the north coast of Dongju. Zhongliu Islet is a small rocky island that rises from the sea, located northwest of Fuzheng Village. It is also known as Yongliu Islet, and local fishermen refer to it as 'Yuao' (Fishing Cove). No trees grow on it, but it is rich in shellfish resources. Whenever the tide recedes, the gravel beach is exposed, connecting Fuzheng Beach with the nearby Zhongliu Islet. At this time, villagers gather in small groups along the gravel beach to collect nature's bounty, such as shellfish and sea vegetables, enjoying the fun of a plentiful harvest.
