Following the lifting of wartime administration, the Matsu National Scenic Area Administration was officially inaugurated on November 26, 1999, taking charge of the planning, development, and management of the scenic area. Upon your initial arrival at the Nangan Visitor Service Center, you'll be greeted by sculptures of terns soaring and dancing on the adjacent grassy slope. The visitor center itself, designed in the style of traditional Mindong stone houses, along with stunning sea-eroded landscapes, the sounds of crashing waves, and its proximity to Beihai Tunnel and Dahan Stronghold, collectively form a beautiful, idyllic paradise. Inside, the Nangan Visitor Service Center offers comprehensive and modern facilities, including presentation video viewing, tourist information, and brochures. There's also a souvenir shop, making it the ideal rest stop for your Matsu Nangan journey!
