Yingxia Bridge Pavilion

The Dapeng Bay cycling main route system turns into the Left Bank Wetland Park at the 2k+500 mark. To cross the Linbian Canal, a dedicated bridge for cyclists and pedestrians was constructed. Considering Southern Taiwan's scorching climate, the bridge features a pavilion-style double-pitched roof with translucent panels and V-shaped wooden louvers along the walkway. This design not only minimizes disturbance to surrounding wildlife but also provides shade, shelter from rain, and a spot for birdwatching. The pavilion is 35 meters long. Due to its design as a long, covered walkway spanning the bridge, visitors call it the 'Bridge Pavilion.' The Bridge Pavilion's design connects cycling and pedestrian routes and serves as an important hub for Dapeng Bay's ecotourism. The bridge body is constructed with steel and wood structures. The bridge's design concept draws inspiration from the imagery of 'The Bridges of Madison County,' hoping visitors will have a beautiful encounter with Dapeng Bay's ecological environment. From a distance, the Bridge Pavilion resembles a wooden boat sailing between the blue sky and green forests along the waterfront. Visitors can pause briefly at the Bridge Pavilion to enjoy a moment of peaceful ease and elegant tranquility. Let the light stream down from the pavilion's canopy, feel the gentle breeze, and experience breathing with nature, pulsating with the earth, and soaring with migratory birds on an ecological journey.
