Left Bank Wetland

The Left Bank Wetland is located at the southern end of Dapeng Bay, west of the Linbian Main Drain, covering an area of approximately 8 hectares. This artificial wetland system primarily treats wastewater from the Linbian Main Drain. Wastewater enters the wetland via natural gravity flow, flows out in the same manner, and is discharged into the Qifeng Wetland. A simplified flow diagram of the Left Bank Wetland treatment unit is shown in the figure. Bird species observed in the wetland include Crested Tern, Bean Goose, Black-faced Spoonbill, Oriental Reed Warbler, Siberian Robin, and Daurian Redstart.
