The Right Bank Wetland is located at the southern end of Dapeng Bay, east of the Linbian Canal, covering an area of approximately 8 hectares. It is designed as a two-zone artificial wetland system to treat wastewater from drainage ditches such as the Datian New Branch Line, Datian New Highland, and Nanpu Lake Datian New Branch Line. During clear weather, it purifies water quality, and during heavy rainfall, it functions to intercept and detain floodwaters. It also rehabilitates wetland ecosystems to restore biodiversity and natural landscapes, increasing its value for eco-tourism. Essentially, it is a comprehensive artificial wetland combining water purification, wildlife habitat, landscape, and flood detention functions. Bird species observed in the wetland include Great Egret, Intermediate Egret, Cattle Egret, Pacific Golden Plover, and Curlew Sandpiper.
