Liji Badlands and Little Yellow Mountain

The Liji Badlands are located by the Beinan River on the northern outskirts of Taitung City, also known as Liji Moon World. It features the Liji Mélange, dubbed the "Geological National Treasure of Taitung." Formed by tectonic plate compression, orogeny, weathering, and erosion, the Liji Badlands' sparse mountain walls are covered with numerous erosion gullies, resembling a scene found only on the moon. It has become a popular spot for visitors to capture rugged and desolate beauty photos.
