Hegang Pomelo Tourist Orchard

Hegang Village is located on the eastern slopes of Ruishui Township, Hualien County, facing Ruishui town across the Fuyuan River. In the 1960s, it was renowned overseas for 'Hegang Black Tea,' but due to changing market conditions, sales of Hegang Black Tea steadily declined. To find an alternative, local farmers began trying to cultivate pomelos. After years of cultivation and improvement, the juicy, delicious, sweet, and tender 'Hegang Pomelo' has successfully expanded to the national market, opening up a new frontier for agricultural products in the Hegang area.
