Chihnan National Forest Recreation Area

Chihnan National Forest Recreation Area, located near Liyu Lake, formerly served as the Chihnan Workstation. The park boasts numerous hiking trails, preserved valuable logging equipment, including steam logging locomotives (train engines), as well as a rich natural ecosystem. Throughout the area, you can spot butterflies, Red-billed Black Bulbuls, and more. From April to May, visitors can also enjoy nighttime viewing of black-winged fireflies, making it a great destination for family outings and school field trips.
