Yuanyang Cave, Hidden Army Cave

Yuanyang Cave is located on the northeast side of Wang'an Island. It is a natural valley terrain. Legend has it that in early times, due to numerous water pools, mandarin ducks played and dwelled here, thus giving the cave its name. Offshore, Ma'anshan Islet, shaped like a saddle, serves as a natural barrier. Consequently, during the Japanese occupation era, it was transformed into an important naval base by the Japanese military. Among them, the 'Hidden Army Cave' is a surviving historical relic in this area.
