Nanyu Fort

Nanyu Fort served as an early defensive facility in Qimei, built to resist foreign invasions. Inside its arched basalt stone gate, a stele inscribed with "Record of the Reconstruction of Nanyu Fort" is embedded. The entire fort is constructed from stacked basalt, featuring a grand, rectangular layout. The arched city gate exudes a sense of ancient history. In the evening, the soft glow of the setting sun casts a gentle light, adding a distinct romantic charm.
