Little Taiwan

Little Taiwan is located northeast of Qimei Island in Penghu County. If you walk north from Niumu Ping along the coastal highway, you will see an observation pavilion after a sloping section. From the pavilion, you can observe the results of years of erosion by ocean waves, which have formed a sea-eroded platform strikingly resembling a miniature Taiwan. It is therefore known as Qimei Little Taiwan. There are also rocks resembling Guishan Island (Turtle Mountain Island) in the same location, which become even more distinct at low tide.
