Big Lion Scenic Area

The coastline of the Big Lion Scenic Area boasts a continuous spectacle of columnar basalt sea cliffs, linking to a small cape that extends eastward into the sea, giving the area's coastline a magnificent and ever-changing appearance. Its distinctive shape and coloration contrast strikingly with the surrounding white waves, enhancing its majestic presence. Its form resembles a stone lion crouching on the sea cliff, gazing out at the boundless ocean between the powerful sea and the hazy sky. This is the origin of the name 'Big Lion'.
