Visitor Essentials
Yuehli Bay, shaped like a crescent moon, is a natural small cove. It was the earliest port for fishermen on Qimei Island to engage in coastal fishing, and currently, only a small area on its south side has been developed into the simple 'Yuehli Port'. The white coral sand beach of Yuehli Bay is not only Qimei's only swimming area, but its waters are also highly suitable for snorkeling. The nearby basaltic terrain is very well-developed, with columnar basalt formations appearing in reclining, radial, and crisscrossing patterns, making them quite spectacular and diverse. Marine erosion landforms can be seen everywhere.
