Zhongtun Wind Farm

Zhongtun's ancient name was Zhongdun, so named because it is located between Penghu Main Island and Baisha Island, forming an earthen mound. After World War II, a homophonic name, Zhongtun, was adopted. Later, Yong'an Bridge and Zhongzheng Bridge were built, connecting Baisha to the north and Penghu Main Island to the south. Subsequently, with the construction of the Cross-sea Bridge, the four townships/cities of Magong, Huxi, Baisha, and Xiyu were finally connected into one.
