The Penghu Cijudao Line is the only offshore island route among Taiwan's 16 diverse cycling routes. The Suogang Cycling Rest Stop is located in Suogang Village, Penghu, and is the first cycling rest stop in the Southern Penghu (Pengnan) region of the Cijudao Line. In addition to providing a resting space for cyclists, it features bicycle-themed land art created by internationally renowned artist Hong Yi. The ground pavement also incorporates stencil prints of marine life painted by local artists. Beyond offering a comfortable cycling rest area, it attracts visitors to stop and take photos, showcasing landscape aesthetics to establish the distinct identity of the Southern Penghu scenic area. It creates a space that seamlessly blends land art with the natural environment and allows visitors to explore various famous attractions in Southern Penghu, such as listening to the waves at Fongguei Sea Cave, Shanshui Beach, and experiencing canoeing at Jǐng'àn, all part of Penghu's stunning ocean scenery, renowned as one of the world's most beautiful bays.
