Jibei Stone Weir Cultural Center

Next to the pier on Jibei Island, you'll find the Jibei Tourist Service Center. This center offers services like homestay information, boat trip arrangements, and tourist attraction consultations, and it's also a great spot to rest and wait for ferries. To the east of the Tourist Service Center is the Stone Weir Cultural Center, established to preserve the traditional culture of stone weirs. Penghu boasts the highest number of stone weirs globally, with nearly 600 in total, and Jibei Island alone accounts for almost a hundred of them. This is why Jibei is known as the 'Home of Stone Weirs'.
