Jibei Wusheng Temple

The Wusheng Temple, located in the center of the settlement, is Jibei's earliest temple. It is a two-story building, dedicated to its main deity Wenheng Shengdi, also known as Guan Gong or Guan Sheng Dijun. The nearby Guanyin Temple, along with the Wusheng Temple, serves as a religious center for the villagers. Legend has it that over a hundred years ago, a red light appeared on the sea east of Jibei. Villagers found a golden statue of Guanyin there, brought it back, and initially enshrined it in the Wusheng Temple. Later, funds were raised to build the present-day Guanyin Temple, and from then on, Jibei also became more prosperous.
