Xiji Islet

Xiji Islet is located approximately 4.5 kilometers west of Dongji Islet. Together with Dongji Islet, it is part of the 'South Penghu Four Islands National Park'. Its west and north sides feature basalt sea cliffs with distinct columnar jointing, extending for hundreds of meters and presenting a spectacular sight. It is also designated as the 'South China Sea Basalt Natural Reserve'. All residents relocated in 1978, and it is currently an uninhabited island. Prior application is required to visit the island.
