Mudou Islet

Mudou Islet is 7 kilometers away from Qibei Islet to its south. The entire islet has a circumference of 843 meters and an area of only 0.0244 square kilometers, making it a miniature islet. It is famous for the Mudouyu Lighthouse. Due to numerous hidden reefs nearby, shipwrecks frequently occurred in the past. Therefore, the Mudouyu Lighthouse was established during the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty to guide ships and has been standing for over a century. The Mudouyu Lighthouse is 40 meters tall, and its black-and-white striped tower stands majestically on the dark brown reefs, naturally exuding an imposing aura.
