The "Green Island White Terror Memorial Park" was originally known as the "Green Island Human Rights Cultural Park". Its current address is No. 20, General Rock, Gongguan Village, Ludao Township, Taitung County. The park covers an area of approximately 32 hectares and is located on the northeast corner of Green Island. Within the park, different periods of prison culture unfolded, including the Huoshaodao Vagrant Detention Center, the New Life Correction Center, and Oasis Villa, making it a site where severe human rights violations were perpetrated by the authoritarian government. The entire park's architectural complex, natural environment, and ecological landscape demonstrate the long-term interaction between people and nature, integrating various forms of cultural assets and landforms into a unified cultural landscape.
