Visitor Essentials
Haishenping is a bay situated in the central section of Green Island's eastern coast. Ascending to the sea-viewing pavilion via the 'Little Great Wall' trail, visitors can enjoy an unobstructed panoramic view of the beautiful scenery surrounding Haishenping. The Little Great Wall is located on Green Island's eastern coast, on the northern slope of Haishenping. This approximately 400-meter-long trail winds along the ridge, leading to a viewing pavilion atop the cape. From a distance, the trail resembles a miniature Great Wall of China, hence its name, 'Little Great Wall'. Along this 400-meter trail, no matter which direction one looks – forward, backward, left, or right – visitors will be surrounded and captivated by the exquisite surrounding scenery, and the gentle breeze makes for a refreshing and invigorating experience. Furthermore, beneath the sea cliff to the south of Haishenping, there is an isolated sea stack. From a distance, it resembles Confucius in deep thought while facing a wall, hence its name, 'Confucius Rock'.
