Tropic of Cancer

Taiwan has a total of three Tropic of Cancer markers, located respectively in Shuishang Township, Chiayi; Wuhe Mesa, Hualien; and Fengbin Township. This particular Tropic of Cancer marker is located at the 70.5 km mark of Provincial Highway 11. The pristine white landmark offers beautiful views of the Coastal Mountain Range and the Pacific Ocean, often attracting many tourists who come here to take photos and relax.
