Yilan: Tan Jiao World

[Assessment Validity Period: 2021/03/03~2024/03/02] From Mr. Hsu Chia-pin, the first chairman of the third generation of the century-old vinegar brewing family (Gongyanchu Vinegar), driven by the earnest belief of 'using good water, selecting good rice, and making good vinegar,' a professional team applied a century of accumulated brewing experience to establish the Tan Jiao World Tourism Factory (Longtan Food Co., Ltd.) by Longtan Lake in Jiaoxi Township, Yilan. Uniquely blessed with Yilan's pure water and using strictly selected high-quality local rice, the factory adopts a 'localized raw materials, transparent production process' approach. They utilize excellent bacterial strains inherited for a century, adhere to the traditional 'three-stage fermentation process,' and apply modern 'aerobic fermentation technology' to guarantee quality. During the three-stage fermentation, precious elements are extracted to develop a series of healthy and refined lifestyle products. The facility features Taiwan's first publicly transparent vinegar brewing process (educational) viewing walkway, allowing visitors to personally witness 'food safety and product reliability.' They brew Taiwan's most natural and high-quality vinegar. Tan Jiao World also integrates ecological conservation concepts. Upon entering the main gate, visitors are greeted by freely soaring egrets and lush greenery throughout the venue, two fun fermentation-themed slides, large European imported oak barrels, and Taiwan's first highly transparent, educational 'fermentation process' viewing walkway. This allows every guest to simultaneously enjoy ecology, aesthetics, and education, experiencing diverse travel pleasures. It also features Taiwan's first-ever legendary health-promoting 'Chinese Herbal Balsamic Vinegar' and a series of exquisite products derived from precious elements during the fermentation process.
