[Evaluation validity period: 2022/09/28~2025/09/27] Mr. Ke Chao-chih, the founder of Ching Teng, recognized the limited effectiveness and numerous side effects of herbal remedies or home medicine packets, which were all he could access when ill due to his family's poverty in his youth. This inspired him with the ambition to produce effective medicines to benefit society. Consequently, Ching Teng Pharmaceutical was established in Taichung's You-Shih Industrial Park in 1979 (the 68th year of the Republic of China). In 2009 (the 98th year of the Republic of China), a new plant, "Ching Teng International Pharmaceutical Factory," was established, and in March 2013 (the 102nd year of the Republic of China), it passed PIC/S GMP certification. The company adheres to the business policy of "providing high-quality products to the medical community" and the management philosophy of "customer first, quality paramount, meticulously researching good medicines, and benefiting humanity." It constantly strives for excellence, producing superior medicines and pharmaceutical preparations. Upholding the spirit of integrity, the company continuously strives forward, manufacturing various validated, safe, affordable, and high-quality products, providing better product services, and making the greatest effort and contribution to human health and happiness. Oral health is a significant health trend today. Lifestyle health maintenance, dietary habits, and cleaning and maintenance methods all affect the care of oral and bodily organs. Recent news reports indicate that the rate of tooth decay among Taiwanese children ranks highest globally, and over 60% of adults suffer from periodontal disease. While oral diseases require diagnosis and treatment by medical institutions, important preventive healthcare lacks strengthened promotion and implementation by associations or organizations. In light of this, Ching Teng International Pharmaceutical Factory, through industry-academia cooperation with the School of Oral Medicine at Chung Shan Medical University, provides expertise and data. In 2018 (the 107th year of the Republic of China), it established the "Smile Secret Oral Health Museum," hoping to promote the importance of oral health and quality of life for the nation's population.
