Located in Xianxi Township, a simple coastal farming village in Changhua, Xingmai Egg Roll Bakery Kingdom started in 2004, initially specializing in Sanxia croissants. At one point, there were over 30 croissant specialty stores in Taiwan. During its development, the founder, driven by a passion for baking, began developing other products and actively transforming the business. Later, motivated by personal demands for food safety and a desire to give back to his hometown, he established Taiwan's first egg roll tourist factory, the [Xingmai Egg Roll Baking Kingdom Tourist Factory], in 2017. When developing egg rolls, the owner considered the rising health consciousness of Taiwanese consumers, who are increasingly valuing 'healthy eating' and adopting healthier lifestyles. Thus, the egg rolls are made with pure natural butter, adhering to five major principles, which are generously shared with visitors: 1. Unlike the convenient and quick use of egg powder, we insist on using locally sourced fresh eggs. 2. To highlight the fresh and natural taste of the ingredients, not a single drop of water is added during the production process. 3. Using 99% natural butter, allowing the natural aroma of the ingredients to replace artificial flavors. 4. Selecting local granulated sugar to replace artificial synthetic sugars, which have a higher sweetness. 5. To ensure the crispy texture of the egg rolls, the entire production process takes place in an air-conditioned factory. While the use of natural butter significantly shortens the shelf life and costs more than 6 times that of ordinary vegetable oil, it deepens customers' brand memory of Xingmai. In 2019, Xingmai Egg Roll Bakery Kingdom, inspired by the limitless creativity of filled egg rolls, developed the 'Peanut Butter Egg Roll' and various other flavored filled egg rolls. Using local farm eggs combined with rich peanut butter and a crispy, layered egg roll texture, it not only won the Excellent Award in Changhua's Top 100 Souvenirs but also became Xingmai's star product and a highly popular online proxy purchase item. It also became Taiwan's largest OEM factory for peanut butter egg rolls, with a daily production capacity of over 60,000 units.
