In 2016, Chairman Sung Kuang-fu led his team to plan and construct the [Chi Mei Food Happy Factory] in Tainan's Rende District. Combining functions such as travel, tourism, shopping, and leisure, it hopes to trace the origins of gourmet food ingredients. From raw materials, visitors can understand the factory's manufacturing process, explore the deliciousness of food, and learn about food safety and health concepts. Exhibits inside the factory revolve around the theme of 'happiness,' ranging from cultural artifact displays and fun, educational interactive experiences to an exciting simulated shopping street. The DIY classroom features 'Handmade Happiness,' encouraging visitors to create their own happiness with their hands, with options like DIY pineapple cakes, siomai, pearl meatballs, and cake cookies. The theme restaurant and cafe offer affordable, delicious meals and rich, tasty coffee. There's also the Chi Mei Goodies specialty store, offering great value gourmet food for purchase. Driven by the good will of giving back to society, Chi Mei Food Happy Factory hopes that consumers, at every moment spent here, can experience their own special feeling—the taste of happiness, knowing happiness!
