[Evaluation validity period: 2023/10/24~2026/10/23] The Taichung Distillery, originally located on Fuxing Road in Taichung City, relocated to its new factory in the Taichung Industrial Park in July 1998, following historical changes. To develop the tourism service industry, a Wine Culture Museum was built, displaying many old machines preserved from the former factory. The historical introduction to alcoholic beverages, in particular, allows the public to gain a deeper understanding of wine culture. To promote education, the public can book guided tours of the alcohol production process, where they learn about alcohol making and responsible drinking concepts. The factory grounds feature numerous green recreational landscapes, such as the Three Immortals Pavilion, Courtyard Garden, and Dragon's Spring, providing a great place for the public to relax and gain knowledge during holidays. After relocation and redesign, in addition to the original flagship products of distilled rice wine and brewed yellow wine, the factory first launched the Chinese health-preserving liquor 'Yongkang Wine' in 1999, which has been highly favored by consumers. In recent years, in response to changing drinking trends, besides steadily producing the largest volume of rice wine, the factory has also been dedicated to developing diverse new alcoholic products, including oligosaccharides, fruit vinegars, and red yeast rice products. Furthermore, it has focused on researching and developing blended whisky and grain whisky, with these products receiving considerable praise in the market. In addition to offering guided tours of the alcohol production process, the factory also provides DIY experience activities for the public. Through hands-on experience, participants can deepen their knowledge of alcoholic and vinegar products and enhance their interest. All DIY experience activities can be booked in advance. ♦Designated driver after drinking. Arrive home safely.♦ ♦Excessive drinking is harmful to your health.♦ ♦Don't drink and drive.
