【Evaluation Validity Period: 2021/05/10~2024/05/09】 The Zhunan Beer Brewery is located in the Zhunan Industrial Zone, Miaoli County. It is our company's largest brewery in terms of area, with the newest equipment and highest production capacity. Planning for its construction began in 1981, and by 1983, part of the budget was allocated and legal procedures completed. Subsequently, due to stagnant beer sales growth and the liberalization of foreign beer imports, the construction plan was temporarily halted. After a re-evaluation in 1989, it was deemed necessary to proceed, so the plan was revised according to actual circumstances and resumed in July 1990. Construction contracts were progressively awarded starting January 20, 1992, and the entire project was completed, with materials loaded and trial operations begun, on June 30, 1996. It officially began mass production on May 24, 1998, after hosting a concert attended by ten thousand people featuring local singing superstar Wu Bai. This brewery specializes in brewing beer, offering five types of products: 0.6-liter Taiwan Beer, 0.35-liter canned Taiwan Beer, 6-can multi-pack of 0.35-liter canned Taiwan Beer, 0.6-liter Taiwan Draft Beer, and 30-liter kegged Draft Beer. Its maximum annual production capacity is approximately 2.16 million hectoliters, equivalent to 30 million dozens of 0.6-liter bottled beer per year, or 30,000 metric tons of malt per year. In July 1997, due to policy requirements, this brewery merged with the Jianguo Beer Brewery, operating as two separate sites for simultaneous production. Then, on April 15, 2002, this brewery was separated from Jianguo Beer Brewery and merged with a bottle manufacturing plant. On July 1, 2002, in line with company restructuring, it was renamed Taiwan Tobacco & Liquor Corporation Zhunan Beer Brewery. On November 1, 2003, the transportation center was reorganized into a transportation section and integrated into the brewery's material division. Furthermore, on November 17, 2003, the Taipei Beer Factory was also incorporated under the management of this brewery. After merging with the bottle manufacturing plant, transportation center, and Taipei Beer Factory, this brewery will become the largest supplier of beer and beer bottles in northern Taiwan. In 2006, it began producing Taiwan Gold Medal Beer, joining the ranks of high-quality, high-standard production management. In response to the trend of two-day weekends in Taiwan, the company's innovation and change policy, and the opening of the product promotion center, this brewery applied for accreditation as a tourist factory by the Ministry of Economic Affairs in April 2015 and passed the accreditation on July 20 of the same year.
