Pingtung: Xian Zhuo Dao Marine Food Culture Museum

[Evaluation Validity Period: 2022/09/07~2025/09/06] This is the first marine food culture museum themed around dried cod floss. Visitors can learn about the evolution of seafood processing over more than 40 years. Located adjacent to Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area, the museum is ideal for sightseeing, leisure, tourism, education, and cultural activities. Zhengyi Foods Marine Delicacy Culture Museum is Taiwan's first marine recreational food culture museum dedicated to dried cod floss. Its predecessor, Dongfa Seafood Processing Plant, originally specialized in OEM manufacturing for major companies. The company has obtained international certifications such as ISO22000, HACCP, and HALAL. Following its transformation to operate its own brand 'Xian Zhuo Dao' and actively participating in overseas international food exhibitions, it has successfully expanded its sales to over a dozen countries including the United States, South Korea, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. Its products are highly recognized and trusted by various sectors. The disaster brought by Typhoon Morakot in 2009 (the 88 Flood) completely submerged over 40 years of effort by Zhengyi Foods. Feeling disheartened, with the support and encouragement from various leaders, Zhengyi Foods gained the courage to rise again and continue to grow. Forged by the experience of Typhoon Morakot, we stood up again and actively transformed. The tourist factory was completed and established in December 2011, with the aim of sharing over 40 years of processing experience, production processes, and business philosophy with the public. Zhengyi Foods is located just 800 meters from Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area in Pingtung County. We hope that through the tourist factory, consumers can better understand our products, thereby achieving brand building, driving local industries, and becoming a place suitable for sightseeing, leisure, tourism, education, and culture.
