[Assessment Validity Period: 2021/11/22~2024/11/21] [Excellent Rating Validity Period: 2009/11/25~2012/11/24] Announcement: The visitor learning restaurant at this factory is now open for operation, but the opening date of the tourist factory has not yet been finalized. Visitors are advised to inquire beforehand, thank you. I-MEI was founded in 1934. From a small pastry shop in Taipei City during the Japanese colonial era to one of Taiwan's renowned pastry enterprises today, I-MEI has, for over seventy years, consistently upheld the spirit of "sincerity and honesty" in making pastries, accompanying Taiwanese people through life's golden moments. In 2006, to carry on Chairman Gao Teng-Jiao's philosophy, "Making pastries is an honest person's profession, a business of conscience," the "I-MEI Demonstration, Training, and Experiential Learning Center" was specially established at the Nankan factory in Taoyuan. In 2009, it was officially renamed the "I-MEI Food Production, Ecological, and Lifestyle Park," and in the same year, it passed the Ministry of Economic Affairs' certification as an excellent tourist factory. A visit to the I-MEI tourist factory can satisfy the taste buds of food lovers. The air is filled with the aromas of pastries, bread, and rich coffee. From cookies, candies, and cooking ingredients to frozen desserts, the products are rich and diverse, directly from the factory, fresh, delicious, safe, and hygienic. The vibrant I-MEI Ecological Park showcases production machinery that bears witness to the company's historical trajectory. The elegant historical exhibition area records the story of I-MEI's steady growth and development, step by step. Within the park, in addition to the visitor learning restaurant and Taiwanese cuisine, it's a delightful tasting journey. Furthermore, in the DIY Pastry Zone, there is a series of DIY activities. With a reservation, you can enjoy the fun and sense of accomplishment of making things by hand. I-MEI ensures you can shop, get your fill, and GO!
