[Evaluation valid period: 2023/06/27~2026/06/26] Chia Hui Hsiang Foods was founded in 1987 (Minguo 76) by its founder and chairman, Mr. Huang Chih-Ming. The company primarily focuses on mochi, establishing its own brand, [Royal Family], to develop and operate in the market, with over 100 products in its Taiwan specialty series. It boasts a new factory spanning 5,000 ping (approximately 16,500 square meters) in Nangang Industrial Park, making it the first modern professional food factory among Taiwan's mochi peers to simultaneously achieve ISO 22000 and HACCP certifications. The factory is also equipped with state-of-the-art technological facilities and robust product research and development capabilities. The Royal Family brand pioneered the introduction of unique local Taiwanese flavors. Its product range broadly includes mochi, chocolate mochi Q-cakes, egg rolls, mochi cakes, Taiwan You Dou (a specific snack type), marshmallows, jellies, and nougat. Beyond their superior taste, Chia Hui Hsiang products are presented in exquisite gift boxes, further enhancing their premium quality. The company also handles OEM orders for numerous major international manufacturers. Currently, they are actively planning a "Taiwan Mochi" themed museum, projected to open in 2010 (Minguo 99). This museum is designed as a mochi industry knowledge and cultural theme center, embodying the diverse ethnic characteristics of Taiwan. It will showcase Taiwan's rich and varied humanistic mochi culture through innovative concepts and modern technology, evolving into a unique tourist factory—the Taiwan Mochi Theme Museum—where the public can personally experience and learn about mochi.
