Tainan: Donghe Bee Culture Tourist Factory

[Evaluation Validity Period: 2021/07/29~2024/07/28] Donghe Bee Culture Tourist Factory is the first tourist factory in Southern Taiwan to combine bee culture with leisure and tourism, offering visitors a feast for the eyes, touch, and taste. Starting from an introduction to Donghe's bee industry, visitors can learn about the culture of honey, honey production, and related knowledge, gaining a comprehensive understanding of 'bee culture'! Located in Tainan City, Donghe Bee Culture Tourist Factory began operations on February 16, 2015. It is the first honey-themed tourist factory in Taiwan and the only one that has passed evaluation. Services offered include bee knowledge, DIY experiences, honey cuisine, and sales. Inside the cultural exhibition hall, in addition to learning about the brand story, production process, bee-related knowledge, and the application of honey in cooking, visitors can also experience the honey harvesting process in the simulated scenario area and take photos as souvenirs. The museum also offers DIY activities for cute clay bee magnets and super-cute bee doll pens. Before leaving, visitors can also head to the unique glass coffee house to enjoy the lush pastoral scenery and savor a refreshing and sweet honey drink and authentic Dongshan coffee, paired with crispy yet soft Belgian waffles.
