[Assessment Validity Period: 2022/07/26~2025/07/25] [Excellence Validity Period: 2010/11/17~2013/11/16] With "creating exquisite spaces and enhancing quality of life" as its corporate mission, the Champion Building Materials Group, upholding its commitment to give back to society, established Taiwan's first green tile tourist factory—the Champion Green Concept Museum. It hopes to remind the public to cherish nature, care for green living, and understand the importance of preserving tile history and local cultural and creative arts. Tiles, a building material most frequently encountered in daily life yet often overlooked, are actually the most crucial decorative material for living environments! But you might not know that each tile must undergo tempering at a high temperature of 1,200 degrees Celsius. Under the meticulous supervision and strict quality control of Champion colleagues, each tile, like a work of art, represents the precious efforts of the Champion team. The "Champion Green Concept Museum" sincerely invites you to witness the green manufacturing process of tiles that have won the "National Excellence Award." The Green Concept Museum's exhibits are divided into two main themes: the "Green Environmental Concept Zone" and the "Champion Corporate Museum." It emphasizes that human life should inherently be interdependent with the laws of nature, aiming to remind visitors to protect the natural environment, prioritize energy conservation and waste reduction, and jointly create a green and healthy living environment. Only by coexisting peacefully with nature can humanity's life be secured. In addition, as the largest green tile factory in Taiwan, it not only educates the public about the green and environmentally friendly manufacturing process of tiles but also introduces green tile building materials that align with global trends, jointly witnessing how the tile industry contributes to environmental sustainability. ◎ Origin of the Champion Green Concept Museum In response to frequent natural disasters in recent years, the Champion Group, adhering to the founder's business philosophy of environmental conservation and energy saving, actively advocates for protecting the Earth. In 2009, it invested hundreds of millions of NT dollars to establish the "Champion Green Concept Museum" to educate the next generation on "coexisting with nature" and the "culture of green tiles." The museum hopes to express the concepts of respecting nature and sustainable management in daily attitudes, and further fulfill its commitment to deeply cultivating local communities and giving back to the homeland, pioneering a new era of green living aesthetics through energy-saving and environmentally friendly fashionable green living. The first floor of the "Champion Green Concept Museum" features: a green environmental concept exhibition area advocating "coexistence with nature"; and the "Tile Industry Museum" area, which chronicles the history of Taiwan's tile industry and the Champion Building Materials Group. This includes the industry-leading green building materials zone, self-cleaning nano "smart tiles," "healthy oxygen tiles" for creating a healthy, fresh, oxygen-rich, and comfortable living environment, and the environmentally friendly, energy-saving, and carbon-reducing "dry-hanging construction method," among other creative and eco-friendly green products. These exhibits allow every visitor to the Champion Green Concept Museum to realize that "tiles are the best green building materials." The second floor is planned as an art and cultural space, integrated with Miaoli pottery art, serving as a promotional space for pottery culture. In the future, it is hoped that it can be combined with art and cultural performances to enrich the artistic atmosphere of the "Green Concept Museum," moving towards a tourist factory model that provides diverse functions such as education and art. Looking ahead, Champion Building Materials will use the "Champion Green Concept Museum" as a base for implementing its green environmental philosophy. It aims to create a cultural and artistic cluster, continuously holding academic and cultural-creative activities, promoting the upgrade of traditional industries, advocating fashionable green living, and pioneering new green living aesthetics.
