【Evaluation Period: 2021/11/17~2024/11/16】 Between 1968 and 1977, Chairman Mr. Liu Hsin-Yu worked at Tatung Industrial, Taiwan's first sock factory. 【Founding Period】1977 ˙In 1977, Mr. Liu Hsin-Yu purchased 5 sock knitting machines and established a textile machinery factory. ˙In 1981, a covered yarn factory was established, introducing 10 covered yarn machines from Japan's Katagane Co., Ltd. The covered yarn raw materials supplied their own sock knitting machines and many local sock factories in Shetou. 【Stable Period】1991 ˙They pioneered the introduction of elastic fibers into functional socks and sports hosiery, significantly enhancing the added value of the sock industry. A second covered yarn factory was also established, increasing production lines. ˙They performed OEM for many well-known brands, such as NIKE, CONVERSE, Disney, etc. 【Transformation Period】 ˙Leveraging the experience gained from OEM for renowned brands, in 2007, they established their own brand, "LOHO." They hold multiple product design patents and have won numerous accolades, including a Bronze Medal at the Paris Invention Award (France), the National Industrial Innovation Award, a Silver Medal at the National Industrial Creation Award, and other National Industrial Innovation Awards. They also pioneered Taiwan's first sock-knitting tourist factory. 【Growth Period】2016 ˙In 2016, they moved into the Shetou Sock Industrial Park, introducing the latest Italian machinery to specialize in producing anti-odor functional socks. ˙In 2017, they further pioneered the establishment of the LOHO Sock Village Museum, driving tourism for traditional industries and steadfastly remaining rooted in Taiwan. The LOHO Sock Village Museum is Taiwan's largest museum dedicated to anti-odor sock knitting, housed in a vibrant, Italian-style building. It showcases the company's detailed history and comprehensive knowledge about socks. Its featured functional deodorizing sock series is highly acclaimed, and it boasts the introduction of the latest Italian machinery and has been recognized with honors such as the Paris Invention Award, a first in the sock industry.
