Yunlin: Wanjo Soy Sauce Tourist Factory

【Validity Period: 2021/11/17~2024/11/16】 Wanjo Soy Sauce, founded in 1909, is the oldest soy sauce brand in the Xiluo area. Founder Mr. Zhuang Qinglin utilized fermentation technology, combined with the unique water quality and climate of the Xiluo region, to brew mellow and rich pure-brewed black bean soy sauce. This laid a strong foundation for Wanjo Soy Sauce's future, emphasizing "health, nature, and deliciousness," which has consistently earned consumer recognition and preference. Located by the Zhuoshui River in Xiluo, Wanjo benefits from excellent water quality, and its proximity to the Tropic of Cancer provides an ideal climate for soy sauce brewing. Primarily producing Taiwanese-style black bean soy sauce, the brand is now over 100 years old. To pass down the soy sauce brewing culture, Wanjo integrated tourism and culture to establish Taiwan's first "Soy Sauce Tourist Factory." The old Xiluo factory was transformed and upgraded. Through comprehensive redevelopment and design planning, it now exhibits new vitality and charm, allowing visitors to tour the renovated facility and learn about the traditional Taiwanese black bean soy sauce brewing process.
