Located in Tanzi District, Taichung City, it is Taiwan's only fishing-themed park and the world's only fishing tackle tourism factory. Its core mission is to promote friendly fishing activities, foster understanding of marine culture and environmental education, and advocate for concrete actions to reduce plastic and carbon emissions. Upon arrival at the park entrance, visitors are greeted by a seaside-style wooden boardwalk plaza and an archway building featuring polar bear mascots – a must-visit photo spot for social media enthusiasts. Entering the first-floor pier shopping street, you'll discover 16 diverse shops designed with an exotic fishing village charm, selling local souvenirs, cultural and creative products, as well as cafes and fishing tackle shops. The seven-meter diameter, world's largest giant fishing machine is a must-try attraction. The second floor houses the Fishing Story Museum, an exhibition area dedicated to fishing knowledge and marine education. It also features an Ocean Theater for 3D films, a virtual fishing ground for simulated fishing experiences, and various DIY craft classrooms, offering engaging and educational experiences suitable for families. The park also plans outdoor activities that extend to various fishing spots, gradually fulfilling its goal of becoming a central hub for fishing knowledge. Since its establishment in 1986, Okuma Fishing Tackle, a globally renowned brand, has been committed to the mission of "creating the joy of leisure fishing life." It focuses on developing fishing tackle specifically designed for anglers.
