The production of handmade paper requires specific conditions such as water quality and climate to ensure the paper has long-term preservation properties. In addition to focusing on the production of traditional exquisite handmade paper, the factory has also long dedicated itself to educational experiences, making efforts in papermaking, calligraphy, and printing courses, allowing domestic and international tourists to gain unique learning experiences during their travels. Currently, Guangxing Paper Mill is the only handmade paper factory open to the public for tours and educational experiences. It offers educational activities designed for all age groups, making it a transformed factory that is informative, engaging, and challenging. It also features a Taiwanese Handmade Paper Store, offering over 30 different types of exquisite Taiwanese handmade paper. Currently, it focuses on promoting green craft papers (such as banana fiber paper, water bamboo husk paper, and bagasse paper), realizing the most unique 'local production for local sales' model in the cultural industry.
