Visitor Essentials
It is one of the new urban rail stations established during the undergrounding of the Taiwan Railways. The station is located near the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, featuring a light and flowing water wave design, with "Artistic 風水 Beauty" as its main design theme. Green slopes replace tall, straight concrete flood walls, and the landscape architecture uses water features and greenery to address flood levels and the urban heat island effect. Visitors can stroll and relax along the forest paths and streams, resonating with nature. Adjacent to the 41-hectare Museum of Fine Arts green space, the undergrounding of the railway not only provides an opportunity for this area to connect with the MRT Red Line but also links to the Neiwei living circle.
