Xinwei Scenic Bridge

The Xinwei Scenic Bridge is located at the 45km mark of Provincial Highway 28. It spans both banks of the Laonong River, situated between the Liugui Bridge and Dajin Bridge, connecting Provincial Highways 28 and 27. The main purpose of this bridge is to connect traffic between Meinong, Liugui, and Maolin districts of Kaohsiung City, and Gaoshu and Dajin townships in Pingtung County, effectively shortening travel times in various parts of Kaohsiung City. The bridge features an outward-sloping steel arch design structure and is specially designed to resemble a purple crow butterfly.
