Linyuan Anle Building

The Anle Building is a Baroque building constructed around 1930. During the Japanese colonial period, it served as a club for Japanese military officers. Later, it was converted into an entertainment establishment and a hotel. In the past, it was a gathering place for merchants, scholars, and gentry, bustling with vibrant nightlife and activity, witnessing a chapter of Linyuan's prosperity. Eventually, due to years of disrepair, it declined into a ruin. It gained some fame after being a filming location for the Golden Bell Award-winning drama 'A Touch of Green,' and is now a popular Instagram check-in spot.
