Gangshan is a major center for Taiwan's screw industry, with over 30% of the nation's screw-related businesses concentrated here, producing more than 16% of the world's screws. Because of this, Gangshan is known as the 'Kingdom of Screws'. The Screw Museum was built to preserve, document, and collect the history of the screw industry's development and its manufacturing processes. Within the three-story building, which boasts a floor area of 600 ping (approximately 1,980 square meters), the first floor displays the screw production workflow, operational steps, and various machinery used in the manufacturing process. Visitors can explore the interactive exhibition area to understand the complex and labor-intensive process of creating a small screw.
