Dapingding Tropical Botanical Garden

Dapingding Tropical Botanical Garden is the nation's first urban tropical botanical garden built for conservation, research, education, and recreation. It can be called the 'lungs of the area,' offering a rich diversity of plant life and ecological environments. With its excellent geographical location and climatic conditions, it fosters a rich biodiversity. The plateaus, steep slopes, and cliffs within its environment provide diverse habitats for various creatures, serving as a site for environmental education and eco-tourism on issues of global concern, and also as a resource for academic research and nature conservation. It also received the 'Gold Award' in the Environmental Culture category of the '2010 National Excellent Construction Award,' earning it the title of 'Green Pearl.' The park is mainly divided into the Tropical Scenery Area, Fruit Tree Area, Savannah Area, Rainforest Area, Coastal Plant Area, Aquatic Plant Area, Net House Plant Area, and an Educational Interpretive Center. Additionally, the park has specially planned four walking routes, based on distance, suitable for different fitness levels, ranging from the leisurely 'Lohas Path' to the more challenging 'Hero's Path.'
