Qishan Station - Sugar Railway Story House

Qishan Train Station was built between 1913 (Taisho 2nd year of the Japanese era) and 1915 (Taisho 4th year). The architectural style of the station is sometimes referred to as 'pseudo-Western style architecture,' a form brought to Taiwan by Japanese architecture students. It blends Japanese, Victorian, and Gothic styles, resulting in a very elegant and charming design. The entire building exudes a relaxed and lively rhythm. Its captivating light blue exterior makes it a popular spot for visitors to take photos, and it is also Qishan's most renowned local landmark.
