Qiming Temple, also known as Wumiao (Martial Temple), is a syncretic religion that unifies Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism, known as the Confucian Sect Divine Religion. It worships the saints of the three religions, with the Dual Sages of Civil and Martial Arts as its main deities, and also honors Yue Fei and Koxinga (Zheng Chenggong). It was founded in the 25th year of Guangxu (1899 AD) to the southwest of Lotus Pond. Its magnificent and grand exterior features Oriental palace-style architecture. On the birthdays of the various gods, devotees hold elaborate rituals to welcome and worship them, making it one of the important local celebrations.
